Debt-free credit cards?

Is there such a thing as a credit card I must put deposits into it before charging something on it so that the balance owing on it is always zero meaning that I%26#039;ll never have to worry about getting into a huge debt with it?

Debt-free credit cards?

Ya, that is called a debit card. You get it from your bank, and the debit card takes the money from your checking account.

These types of cards exist, but the credit company charges you fees to use them! So if you give the company $300 on the card, they may assess a fee and only credit you with $270 available.

Just use your Debit Card from your checking account instead. Problem solved!

The problem with a debit card is they will let you overdraw and charge a %26quot;processing%26quot; fee of the purchase will be refused if it is for one penny more then your balance.

Use your debit card. If you pay attention to your money it is simpler and cheaper than dealing with credit cards. I cut up all my credit cards more than twenty years ago and have had much more money ever since. Credit cards are more a disease than anything else.
