The more you apply, the worse your credit score gets. It%26#039;s self defeating.....sounds like the only way you are going to get one is to open an account at a certain bank in which you are not allowed to touch the money. Then they give you a card for the amount in the account. You pay it off on time and in a few years you%26#039;ll build up credit and not need the account anymore...good luck!

why would you wanna pay off a debt with a card that causes soooooo many people to go into debt ?! you cant keep applying for a credit card, it will only make your score worse!! i got a credit card from capital one a few months back before i turned 20, the limit was low due to the fact that i dont have a job, a bank account, nor am i a student yet. Dont apply for awhile now, get a bank account and put money in that account only to build your credit if you do happen to get a card donnnt use it to pay off a debt

with poor credit ANY card you get will be a small (under $500) limit.

You can go to www.whogavemecredit.com and look at all the different accounts and scores people had in order to get them, and apply for one of those-- but you really need to be more selective-- each inquiry can take off 1-2 points of your score-- you can see why applying for 20 cards is NOT a good idea.

Oh you shouldnt do that!!! paying a loan with another loan is no no good!!!

try your bank!

um dont apply everywhere. It looks bad on the credit report and companies will actually turn you down if you have a lot of apps out there.

I would just try to pay your debt off without a card.
