Is credit card debts reduce programs a good option to get rid cc debts?

There are pros and cons. They can help negotiate lower interest rates, but you may be able to do that yourself (I have called and gotten mine lowered myself.) It may look like you couldn%26#039;t handle the debt yourself and that may have a negative affect on your FICO score or to your next lender.

Here%26#039;s a calculator that will create a monthly payment schedule to pay off your debt faster. It uses the same basic principle used by credit counseling services - pay as much as you can, pay more than the minimum on one loan/cc, once that is paid off pay all the money that was being paid to that one and start paying off the next one.

It takes self discipline no matter what method you use. Good luck to you, you can do it!

Yes and no. It does help get rid of interest, so you tend to pay little of that, so you end up getting pricipals paid off, at a rate you can afford.

However, regardless of what they say, these programs do have a minor negative affect on your credit rating.

But if you%26#039;re not planning to buy anything major anytime soon, they are surely the way to go.

I don%26#039;t know the answer to your question but I would recommend you reading Dave Ramsey%26#039;s book %26quot;Total Money Makover%26quot;. It teaches you how to get rid of cc debt.

If the card issuer will negotiate a settlement, it may be a good deal. If someone asks you to pay them reduce your debt, they are a rip off.
